Delivery Information

When will my order be dispatched?

We know you'll be eager to receive your Clea Broad purchase so we will always aim to ship within 1-3 business days. 

How long will my bespoke order take? 

As each bespoke piece is hand made to order please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery although we will always aim to get it to you as quickly as possible.

Orders will be shipped to the address you provide. We'd hate for your order to go missing, but we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courier or replace lost orders submitted with incorrect delivery information. 

How will I know my order is on its way?

You will be emailed in the unlikely event there are any delays in making or sending your order. 

We will email you to let you know when your order is on its way.

How will my purchace be presented and packed?

Everyone loves beautiful packaging so we pride ourselves on making your purchase feel special. 

Each hat, headpiece and collar is wrapped and nested in white acid free tissue paper in a keepsake grey accessories box tied with ribbon or in a ribbon handled hat box. To protect the box or  hat box in transit it will be placed in an outer cardboard box for delivery.

How will my UK order be sent?

Most UK deliveries will be sent 1st Class or next day delivery with Royal Mail.. This service requires a signature and is fully insured.

Any parcels which are too large to go via Royal Mail, will be sent with Parcel Force Worldwide which is also fully insured. 

How much is postage?

Postage within the United Kingdom is free. 

EUROPEAN & WORLDWIDE ORDERS

I live outside the UK. Can I order from you?

Yes,  delivery is with Royal Mail International, and should be with you 5-10 working days after shipping. 

I live outside of the UK. Will I have to pay tax?

Customs clearance is included in all EU destinations. The rest of the world may incur taxes at the point of customs clearance. This is dictated by that country's custom laws and any taxes and charges incurred at customs are payable by you, the customer. 

 

 

Returns, cancellations & Exchanges

Do you accept returns & exchanges?

The bad news is, we can't accept returns on bespoke orders unless the item is faulty, but the good news is we can accept returns on all other items that are in stock and ready to ship. 

UK Returns Policy:

We offer a returns policy for goods returned to us in their original condition, in the original packaging.

To return an item you must notify us in writing by email or via our contact form of your intention to return within 7 days of receipt of goods.

Please ensure you send the goods back within 14 days so we can process your refund or exchange.

Please note that return postage costs are at your expense unless the goods are faulty. We advise to send by special delivery so the goods can be tracked as they are your responsibility until they reach our premises.

We will refund your credit card as soon as we receive your goods in the original condition in the original packaging, however dependant on credit card type this can take up to 10 days to show on your statement. Please allow for this.

International Returns Internet Sales

Please notify us of your intention to return the goods within 7 days of receipt of goods.

You must write on top of the box, and on the necessary documentation that the goods are a return of purchase, otherwise you may be liable for import duty.

It is your responsibility to select a reliable carrier to return the goods to us, with a trackable service.

We offer a returns policy for goods returned to us in their original condition, in the original packaging.

We are unable to offer refunds for international postage.

What if an item is faulty or damaged?

In the unlikely event that a piece is found faulty or damaged we will cover all costs involved in exchanging it. Please check over your purchase and contact us within 5 days of delivery and we will proceed from there.

What if I accidentally damage one of your pieces?

If you accidentally damage a hat or headpiece you’ve purchased from Clea Broad please contact us. If we think it can be mended in any way we can arrange for you to send it back to my studio so we can fix it for you.

What if I change my mind about an order?

If you change your mind about an order for whatever reason, you have until the order has been shipped to contact us and cancel your order.  A full refund will be issued to the original credit/debit card. If it has already been shipped then you can only get a refund once the piece has been returned to us. 

If you change your mind about a bespoke order, please contact us immediately so we can discuss how to proceed with cancelling your order. This will depend on what has been discussed during our correspondence or consultation.
