My job brief was to style Pizza Express’ Global Innovation Centre for the 2019 Christmas menu press preview. They wanted a palette of gold, black, red and white and the idea was to create a cosy but contemporary space.
For this latest Pizza Express event I was asked by Lucre PR to style a terrace and table in Belgravia to feel like an al fresco Italian banquet. The purpose of the event was to highlight the less well known Pizza Express Romana range for the press.
I worked with my client, Lucre PR, to style this 2019 Veganuary press event for Pizza Express to highlight all the vegan options on the restaurant chain’s menu. My brief was floral and prop styling that felt contemporary and fresh and inline with the idea of modern vegan living. I used seasonal Spring flowers and vases in palette of pastel colours, balanced with greys. I also used lots of foliage to keep it looking fresh and preventing it from straying into wedding territory.
The atmosphere Lucre PR and Park Plaza wanted to create was the magic of Narnia. I wanted to bring the outside in, using lots of snowy trees, dripping with icicles and snowflakes, small feathered birds on branches, a beaver in the sleigh and a 6ft polar bear in the bed
Tracy Cole from Hello Flora asked me to help her style Avobar in London’s Covent Garden. We added faux plants and other props to the many shelving units lining the walls, mixed in with the restaurants merchandise.
For this Bacardi advert I styled the plants and foliage to transform London venues into a Caribbean party. I also created a distressed paint effect on the shutters to be in keeping with the vision of photographer Jason Bailey.
For the Pizza Express Christmas menu press launch I was set the task by Lucre PR to transform the Covent Garden restaurant into a golden winter wonderland, no mean feat in the middle of a London heatwave.
Tracy Cole from Hello Flora asked me to help her style a baby shower at her beautiful home. The mother-to-be didn’t know the sex of the baby but knew she was going to call it Avery, which we incorporated into one Hello Flora’s signature giant wreaths. We used fresh and vibrant summer pastels mixed with a few more muted tones and lots of foliage for a sophisticated edge. All the flowers were faux, from the Hello Flora collection.
For the launch of their drinks menu at All Bar One, Seedlip asked me to style a large glass cabinet at the Leicester Square flagship bar.
Tracy Cole, owner of online faux flower boutique 'Hello Flora', asked me to help her style the Georgian building, Stone House, in Lewisham, for her Christmas pop-up event. I styled trees and garlands using ribbons, giant stars and faux flowers including roses, berries, succulents and foliage.
