The atmosphere Lucre PR and Park Plaza wanted to create was the magic of Narnia. I wanted to bring the outside in, using lots of snowy trees, dripping with icicles and snowflakes, small feathered birds on branches, a beaver in the sleigh and a 6ft polar bear in the bed
For the Pizza Express Christmas menu press launch I was set the task by Lucre PR to transform the Covent Garden restaurant into a golden winter wonderland, no mean feat in the middle of a London heatwave.
Tracy Cole from Hello Flora asked me to help her style a baby shower at her beautiful home. The mother-to-be didn’t know the sex of the baby but knew she was going to call it Avery, which we incorporated into one Hello Flora’s signature giant wreaths. We used fresh and vibrant summer pastels mixed with a few more muted tones and lots of foliage for a sophisticated edge. All the flowers were faux, from the Hello Flora collection.
For the launch of their drinks menu at All Bar One, Seedlip asked me to style a large glass cabinet at the Leicester Square flagship bar. My brief was to display the drinks bottles in a way that was sympathetic to the brand. I used faux grass, succulents and moss to line the shelves, transforming the cold clinical glass into a woodland scene. I sprayed tools copper , and I stencilled the Seedlip logo onto wooden display crates in a dark green, both colours to match the Seedlip branding. Other details included the use of green pea pods and dried orange slices, a nod to the ingredients in the drinks. I also used faux air plants on a curtain of fairy lights as an eye-catching backdrop to the scene.
My friend, Tracy Cole, owner of online faux flower boutique 'Hello Flora', asked me to help her style the Georgian building, Stone House, in Lewisham, for her Christmas pop-up event. I styled trees and garlands using ribbons, giant stars and faux flowers including roses, berries, succulents and foliage.
