This May the Seedlip marketing team took to the streets once more to promote Garden 108, handing out free samples. They asked me to make more hare masks (the hare features on the label), and I created this revised version for them. Once again the copper detailing and moss remained as alongside the colour palette it is reflective of the branding.
Artist Pablo Bronstein commissioned me to make this ornate and unusual mask as a private commission. It was used as a key costume piece for a short performance film made by Bronstein.
Seedlip, the producers of premium distilled non alcoholic drinks, is a brand I have worked with on other creative projects. This latest project has been to design and make fox and hare masks, using their brand colours, copper wire (to represent the copper foiling on their packaging) and natural materials, to reflect the brand's roots.
For the 2017 European tour of English electronic music duo, Lamb, I have created some dramatic bespoke costume accessories for Lou Rhodes, the singer, and also lent some of my archive pieces.
Photographer Perou & stylist Andie Redman collaborated on a shoot, fusing fashion and costume, based on a contemporary Joan of Arc. I was asked to create a bespoke halo headpiece, referencing stained glass depictions of her in churches as a saint.
For the latest Miss Aniela photo shoot I made this over sized veiling bow. I love the playful Circus theme and the wonderful styling by Minna Attala.
This year I have been fortunate enough to work with Artist Pablo Bronstein on his site-specific work at Tate Britain. I designed and created all the oversized pearl accessories for the dancers, ensuring the costume jewellery expressed Bronstein's vision. It was very important that the pieces worked in harmony with the costumes, set design and performance.
This headpiece started life as a prop, I had an antique book filled with illustrations of butterflies which I wanted to do something unique with.
Stylist Katherine McNeil used some of my millinery and costume pieces for this disco and mermaid inspired editorial for the Spring/Summer 2015 issue of Old Tat magazine.
My luna headpiece and lace veil were featured in Issue 3, of Eclectic magazine (S/S 15). Photography is by Hanako Whiteway and styling by Gabrielle Stival.
