Turban for Pablo Bronstein at Tate Modern

I created Pablo Bronstien's hat for his performance art piece, Constantinople Kaleidoscope, at Tate Modern. The design for the hat was an abstraction of a grand Turkish turban using upholstery ticking fabric, finished with a grand ostrich feather and a gold and ruby jewel.

The performance piece was streamed live as part of the BMW Tate Live series at 8pm on the 26th of April, 2012. Bronstein created a baroque trompe l'oeil stage set, as dancers played with perspective through a series of moving mirrored columns.
